Downloading and installing H2O-3 Secure

To download H2O-3 Secure, contact enterprise@h2o.ai for the download link. Before you install, make sure you meet the requirements to download and use H2O-3 Secure. You need Java, even if you use H2O-3 Secure from the R or Python packages.

Choose your desired method of use below. Most users will want to use H2O-3 Secure from either R or Python.

Install in R​

Perform the following steps in R to install H2O-3 Secure. Copy and paste these commands one line at a time.

By default, this setup is open. Follow security guidelines if you want to secure your installation.

  1. The following two commands remove any previously installed H2O-3 Secure packages for R.
if ("package:h2o" %in% search()) { detach("package:h2o", unload=TRUE) }
if ("h2o" %in% rownames(installed.packages())) { remove.packages("h2o") }
  1. Next, install the packages that H2O-3 Secure depends on.
pkgs <- c("RCurl","jsonlite")
for (pkg in pkgs) {
  if (! (pkg %in% rownames(installed.packages()))) { install.packages(pkg) }
}

  1. Contact enterprise@h2o.ai for the download link, then install the H2O-3 Secure package for R.

  2. Optionally initialize H2O-3 Secure and run a demo to see H2O-3 Secure at work.

Install in Python​

By default, this setup is open. Follow security guidelines if you want to secure your installation.

Run the following commands in a Terminal window to install H2O-3 Secure for Python.

  1. Install dependencies (prepending with sudo if needed):
pip install requests
pip install tabulate
pip install future

# Required for plotting:
pip install matplotlib

These are the dependencies required to run H2O-3 Secure. matplotlib is optional and only required to plot in H2O-3 Secure. See our complete list of dependencies.

  1. Run the following command to remove any existing H2O-3 Secure module for Python.
pip uninstall h2o

  1. Contact enterprise@h2o.ai for the download link, then use pip to install the H2O-3 Secure Python module.

  2. Optionally initialize H2O-3 Secure in Python and run a demo to see H2O-3 Secure at work.

Install on Anaconda Cloud​

To run H2O-3 Secure in an Anaconda Cloud environment, contact enterprise@h2o.ai for the download link.
