Status Key

Driverless AI releases go through different phases of the support lifecycle.

Active Maintenance: Receives regular bug fixes, security updates, and feature releases.
Limited Support: Support ended in August 2025. Available only in exceptional cases, with significant limitations.
End-of-Life: Support has ended. No further updates or security patches will be provided.
⚠️
Important:
Sub-releases (for example, 2.2.1 and 2.2.2) inherit the end-of-life date from their main release version (2.2.x), regardless of their individual release dates. After end-of-life, H2O.ai provides no further vulnerability patches due to upstream library support constraints.

  • Supported Versions: Receive active support, including security patches and bug fixes, until February 9, 2026.
  • Limited Support: Versions whose support ended in August 2025 are available by exception only and with significant limitations.
  • End-of-Life Policy: Sub-releases follow the EOL date of their main release. For example, all 2.2.x versions reach EOL on February 9, 2026.
  • Security Patches: No vulnerability patches are provided after EOL, because upstream library support has ended.
  • Customer Support: For EOL versions, support is granted only by exception and comes with significant limitations due to third-party library constraints.

Migration Recommendation: Customers using unsupported or limited-support versions should migrate to supported versions to maintain access to security patches and full support services.
