Dimension​

Dimension refers to non-numeric data, in other words, qualitative data.

In H2O AutoInsights, dimensions do not include a time or date type column. Time and date data are treated as measures since they can be ordered like quantitative data even though they are not strictly numeric.

Measure​

Measure refers to numeric data, in other words, quantitative data; also, refers to discrete and continuous data.

Temporal​

Temporal refers to date or time data.
