H2O Model Validation uses several key terms across its documentation, and each, in turn, is explained in the sections below.

Reference dataset​

Reference dataset refers to the test dataset of a validation test. The term reference dataset is used interchangeably with the words test dataset to avoid confusion with the actual test dataset associated with a model (i.e., the test dataset of a Driverless AI experiment).

Model summary​

A model summary contains an array of summary metrics about a DAI experiment (e.g., important features, scorer, validation score, etc.).
