H2O Model Validation uses several key terms across its documentation, and each, in turn, is explained in the sections below.

Worker

A Connection that certain validation tests require to utilize to build and run certain models to achieve their test goals.

Connection

A Connection refers to a connection between H2O Model Validation and a supported Platform. A Connection enables you to import your datasets and models from a Platform to H2O Model Validation; furthermore, it enables you to run certain validation tests.

Primary Dataset

In the context of a particular validation test (for example, backtesting), the concept of a "Primary Dataset" differs.

Secondary Dataset

In the context of a particular validation test (for example, drift detection), the concept of a "Secondary Dataset" differs.
